The GS Paper 1 assessed candidates on subjects such as history, geography, political science, economics, and developments in science and technology. The CSAT paper evaluated comprehension, logical reasoning, and analytical abilities. Each paper carried 200 marks.
Candidates were advised to retain their e-Admit Card until the final results of the 2025 Civil Services Examination are announced. They were also instructed to carefully read the “Important Instructions” attached to their admit card.
The exam centre gates closed 30 minutes before the scheduled start time – 9 AM for the morning session and 2 PM for the afternoon session. Candidates were required to reach the venue at least 60 minutes before the reporting time and carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, or driving licence) along with a printed copy of the admit card.
Candidates are now eagerly awaiting the release of the answer key and cutoff marks. The prelims results will determine which candidates qualify for the next stage of the Civil Services Examination.
